Our school has a central location in the modern part of the capital Quito. The building offers a magnificent view of the whole city and its spacious and light rooms provide an optimal learning environment. On our terraces and in our garden students can enjoy their breaks or even take their classes outdoors if they wish.
All Spanish courses are held in separate class rooms and each class last for a full 60 minutes. We offer classes for all levels: as a result our students range from beginners to professional translators. Irrespective of your knowledge of Spanish, you will find a class that meets your needs.

Our Teachers

All of our teachers have academic backgrounds and extensive experience at teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Continuous training further guarantees our teachers' expertise and therefore optimal learning success. We employ a wide range of modern teaching strategies, supported by multimedia elements. Central to all of our courses is a strong focus on applying the language in practice.

Our tuition programmes

All year round we offer language courses as one-on-one tuition or in mini groups for all levels. On every Monday of the year new courses are available for all standards. On demand we could even arrange for you to commence your course during the week.
An individually tailored learning programme enables every student to make optimal progress at learning Spanish. On arrival, all students take a short assessment test to enable our teachers to find the most suitable course for each student.

It is of course possible to vary the type of course and its intensity from week to week. Students can for instance take three weeks of group classes at intensive level, followed by two weeks of one-on-one tuition at standard intensity. How you choose your language programme is entirely up to you.

Any language course can also be extended whilst in Quito.

The Standard Course

This course consists of 20 hours of tuition per week. Four hours of tuition are held in the mornings, and the afternoon is generally free.

The Intensive Course

This course consists of 30 hours of tuition per week. Four hours of tuition are held in the mornings and two in the afternoon, whereby the emphasis in the afternoons is on conversation. We recommend this course to those students who endeavour to learn Spanish as quickly as possible.

Mini Group Classes

In our mini groups, 2-5 students, with equal knowledge of Spanish are taught together. These group classes are particularly popular with beginners. On arrival, students are briefly assessed to determine which course and group is most appropriate. It is possible after consultation with the teacher to change groups if appropriate.

One-on-One Classes

One-on-one tuition allows the teaching programme and speed to be chosen in the most flexible possible way. This guarantees maximum learning success.

Combined Classes

Our combined classes consit of 20 hours of mini group and 10 hours of individual classes per week.

Specialised Programmes

Our special courses are generally available as one-on-one tuition only and prepare students for the special requirements of working life. Subject-specific vocabulary, confident negotiation, precise formulation and fluency in speech are the main aims of these courses. Our special courses offer optimal preparation for any internship.

You are encouraged to fine-tune the course content with your teacher so that it fully meets your needs. These special courses provide an optimal learning atmosphere. The choice of subject is entirely up to you.

DELE-Test

We can also prepare you for the DELE-Test. Our preparatory courses for the DELE are specifically designed to focus on the requirements of the test, so that your preparation will be optimal. The exam can then be taken on your return back home. At present the DELE-test is offered several times each month in different towns throughout many countries.

The Daily Timetable

Tuition begins at 8.30 a.m. every weekday morning and finishes at 1 p.m. There is a break from 10.30 till 11 a.m. in which you can enjoy tea, coffee or water in the school, the garden or on the terrace.

The lunch break is from 1 to 2 p.m. with lunch at the host family. For those who are on an intensive course, tuition resumes at 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The rest of the day is free.

The cultural programme generally takes place in the evenings.

Teaching Materials

Our teaching materials are all up-to-date and are generally in use in Spanish universities. They are all specifically designed for the rapid learning of the Spanish language. All students receive a certificate after successful completion of their course.
