We mediate for internships all year round in all subject-areas throughout Ecuador. You can benefit from our co-operation with numerous prestigious Ecuadorian and international companies and organisations. You can begin an internship at any time of the year. And the duration you can determine after consulting the employer.

Application for and Organisation of Internships To enable us to find a suitable work placement for you we require a covering letter which sets out the reasons for your interest in the chosen work area, the intended timescale of the placement and your motivation to work in that area. We also need a copy of your Curriculum Vitae which provides information on your knowledge of Spanish. On receipt of your application, we will make contact with suitable organisations and companies so that we can quickly get back to you with offers of work placements in the area of your choice.

Optimal Timescale for Application

Depending on the subject-area and the duration of the internship please apply 1-4 months before departure to Ecuador. Shorter timescales are however also possible.

Precondition for an Internship

Important preconditions for the successful organisation internships are good knowledge of Spanish and a minimum duration of the work placement of 3 weeks. Advantageous is experience in the subject-area, very good knowledge of Spanish, previous study of the subject (e.g. at University), and a longer duration.

Knowledge of Spanish

Should you not possess sufficient knowledge of Spanish, you can of course acquire these through one of our Spanish courses. There is also the opportunity to "refresh" pre-existing knowledge of Spanish prior to the internship or to improve on the pre-existing skills through one of our special courses (e.g. Business Spanish, Spanish for Medics, etc.).

 

Special Courses Our special courses can prepare you specifically for the requirements of your internship. These courses are generally offered on a one-on-one basis and are designed to prepare you for the linguistic needs of the internship.

Internship Accompanying Language Courses

We also offer the opportunity of a language courses taken simultaneously with the internship. Depending on the employer, you may be able to work in the mornings and take a language course in the afternoons or the other way round. Of course, you can also concentrate on studying Spanish first and take the internship afterwards.

Accommodation during the Internship Period
