Even before you begin your Spanish course, can take part in our
cultural programme, which starts with an exploration of Quito.
We will show you, together with all other "new" students,
the important things that you need for your daily life in Quito:
how to withdraw money, how to get round by public transport, how
to shop cheaply, where to find Internet cafés, etc. After
this introduction, you will feel at home in Quito much more quickly.
For the better understanding of the Ecuadorian culture, we regularly
offer (twice a week), amongst others, the following activities:
- Dance Classes - Discover together with our dance teacher
the Latin American rhythms such as Salsa and Merengue. Immerse
into the South-American mentality and energy and swing your hips!
- Joint cooking of Ecuadorian dishes - join in and cook
together with teachers and other students and then enjoy the culinary
specialities of Ecuador!
- Discussion rounds, talks and documentaries on historical
and current topics of Latin America. Listen to the interesting
stories of a shaman and discover how different life can be.
- Stage scenes of famous plays, such as Romeo and Juliet or Don
Quijote in Spanish. This is a very fun way to put your Spanish
skills through a challenging but fun test!
- Fiesta with teachers, students, friends and families.
Enjoy this traditional Ecuadorian celebration with local foods,
drinks and dances.
