Our offices can be contacted any time to resolve any questions relating to booking cheap flights, visas, vaccinations, etc. In Quito, the school management is there to help with all matters, such as planning the weekends, etc.

You will be picked up from the airport in Quito and taken to your host family. As soon as possible after arrival you will be familiarised with all the important things about living in Quito: the transport system, withdrawing money, location of supermarkets and other shops, etc. This is done in the form of a tour of Quito.

Academia Kolumbus is fully recognised by the Ecuadorian Ministerío de Eduación as a language institute and was recommended by the Ecuadorian pavilion at the 2000 World Exhibition in Hannover.

Academia Kolumbus is co-operating with universities in various countries. New co-operations are added each month.

Our courses and levels are in full compliance with the European and American Curriculum so that the successful completion of our courses can be accredited by your home university.

Preconditions for accreditation of our courses at your university:

• Existing co-operation of your university with Academia Kolumbus
• Consultation with the language centre of your university, prior to course booking
• Successful completion (written and oral exam for each of 6 levels) of courses at Academia Kolumbus in Quito
• Presentation of certificate at your university
