Our school building is located in the centre of Quito with a magnificent
view of the town and the surrounding mountains. And with its spacious
and light classrooms it offers an ideal environment in which
to study Spanish. You can relax on our terrace or in our garden
during breaks, and if you please you can even take classes outdoors.
Each course, no matter whether it is a mini group or a one-on-one
lesson, is held in a separate classroom.
Our Teachers
All our teachers have academic backgrounds and many years
of experience at teaching Spanish as a foreign language. And the
regular training they receive ensures that their teaching maximises
student success. Our teachers make use of a wide range of modern
teaching strategies, supported by the use of multimedia, and put
very strong emphasis on the practical use of Spanish.
Our Spanish programs
Our Spanish program is flexible enough to allow it to be tailored
to each student's needs. This means optimal learning success.
On all Mondays of the year you can begin any of our programs. On
arrival you will be tested so that the best possible program is
chosen for you.
You can vary both the types of classes (one-on-one, mini group,
specialised) and the intensity (20 hours or 30 hours
per week). You could for example take 3 weeks of intensive small
group classes followed by 2 weeks of standard one-on-one classes.
Any course can be extended without problems while in Quito.
The Standard Course
This course comprises 20 hours of classes per week. There
will be four hours of lessons in the morning. The afternoon is free.
The Intensive Course
This course comprises 30 hours of classes per week: four
hours in the morning and two in the afternoon. The special emphasis
in the afternoon is on conversation. We recommend this course to
students who want to learn Spanish as quickly as possible.
Mini Group Classes
Our mini groups consist of 2-5 students, all of whom are at the
same level of Spanish. Group classes are especially popular
with those students who are at the beginner level on arrival.
One-on-One Classes
One-on-One tuition can be perfectly tailored to the student's needs.
This guarantees maximum flexibility in terms of course material,
speed and emphasis.
Combined Classes
Our combined classes consit of 20 hours of mini group and 10 hours
of individual classes per week.
Specialised Programs
These courses are offered as one-on-one tuition and are ideal for
preparing you for situations and conversations you are likely to
encounter in your working life. Subject-specific formulations, confident
discussion and negotiation and precise articulation are the main
aim of this course.
You are encouraged to agree on the course content with your teacher.
This ensures that the course covers the areas that are of greatest
importance to you. The subject-areas can be freely chosen by you.
The following are popular and common choices:
- Business and Economics
- Finance
- Medicine
- Law
- Tourism
- Biology
- Banking
- Architecture
- Engineering
- Geography

DELE-Test
We can also prepare you for the DELE-Test. Our preparatory courses
for the DELE are specifically designed to focus on the requirements
of the test, so that your preparation will be optimal. The exam
can then be taken on your return back home. At present the DELE-test
is offered several times each month in different towns throughout
many countries.
The Daily Timetable
Tuition begins at 8.30 a.m. every weekday morning and finishes
at 1 p.m. There is a break from 10.30 till 11 a.m. in which you
can enjoy tea, coffee or water in the school, the garden or on the
terrace.
The lunch break is from 1 to 2 p.m. with lunch at the host family.
For those who are on an intensive course, tuition resumes at 2 p.m.
until 4 p.m. The rest of the day is free.
The cultural program generally takes place in the evenings.
Teaching Materials
Our teaching materials are all up-to-date and are generally in
use in Spanish universities. They are all specifically designed
for the rapid learning of the Spanish language. All students receive
a certificate after successful completion of their course.
