Flight

There are daily flights from the United States to Ecuador. The main airlines are American and Continental Airlines.

Flights tend to be cheaper the earlier they are booked. Especially during the summer months cheap seats are quickly sold out.

Entry

Americans do not need a visa for stays of less than 90 days. All that is needed is a passport, which is valid for 6 months on departure from Ecuador. Make sure you check the validity of your passport.
For stays over 90 days Americans require a visa which can be obtained from the Ecuadorian Embassy in Washington.
